When a woman finds herself pregnant, unexpectedly, without support, she may feel lost, frightened, and confused. She has a myriad of emotions and questions. She also may be at a crossroads.
She is in need of acceptance, comfort, and love, such that a hug can really help. YES Quilts gives her a special type of hug, a quilt made especially for her, letting her know someone cares.

Each of these women are unique and worthy of love. YES (You’re Each Special) Quilts provides an opportunity for community acknowledgement and support of these women in a tangible and loving way.

There are many ways to get involved.
• Donate a new/unused quilt and give it to a YES Quilts coordinator.
• Register to be a provider to gift the quilts to the women needing special support.
• Sign up to be a volunteer YES Quilts coordinator, to gather and distribute quilts in your area.
• Bring a group together to make quilts for these women who need to know they are not alone during this challenging time.
• Donate funds to your local group for supplies to make YES Quilts.
• Donate fabric, batting, notions, and tools to support your local quilting group.
• Donate funds to YES Quilts for marketing and operating expenses.

Our Purpose
Our purpose is to enfold the woman who has an unplanned pregnancy into a caring, loving, and comforting acceptance. Through the making and gifting of a quilt, quilters, care providers, and other community members come together to provide this unique support to say YES, You’re Each Special.
Yes! Someone cares about you!
Yes! You are loved just as you are!
Yes! Here is a hug just for you!

How this Works
Individuals, members of quilt guilds and church groups volunteer to make YES Quilts. Quite often, quilters share their talents by making handmade gifts for those in need. Once completed, YES Quilts are collected and delivered to participating organizations such as clinics, medical professionals, community and church outreach programs, and others who serve women in  unplanned pregnancies.
These organizations gift YES Quilts to these women based on the criteria of showing acceptance, providing comfort and most importantly, love of her as she is. Their experience working with their clients, puts them at the frontline because they know that each person and situation is unique.

Are you a provider that wants to gift these quilts to your clients?
